I’ve been working with textiles for as long as I can remember. Sewing, quilting, embroidery, weaving and other methods of creation are second nature to me. I used to make things just for family and friends and the sheer joy of creating, but after years of encouragement from those closest to me, I began to sell my custom artwork to others.

It is so gratifying to see the pleased or satisfied look on a small business owner’s face when they see their logo embroidered on a piece of clothing that they can now wear to showcase their company. When I create original textile artwork, I’m inspired by the idea that it will hang in the home or office of someone I know, taking a small bit of me and my energy with it.

The most rewarding part may be my ability to problem solve and deliver a custom, personalized solution to what was merely a suggestion or concept. When a customer brings me an idea that is only partially formed, we can then discuss options and different execution methods. I love the challenge of thinking outside the box to bring their vision into reality by creating a truly unique and inspiring product.
